A Labor of Love.
Paper Mâché sculpting is not for the faint of heart. The preparation for making the paper mâché pulp is time consuming, the armature construction complicated (at times), and multiple pulp applications tedious…mundane even. This doesn’t even cover the most challenging aspect—painting on a curved surface and final finishes/varnishes to protect all the work.
HOWEVER, this all leads to beautiful, whimsical, unique, delightful works of Art that will move you…inspire you…fill you with wonder. This is truly a Labor of Love.
Following, you may view a “How To” video and a demonstration video produced for the Carbon County Art League, Pennsylvania.
Many people ask me how I “paint” with stained glass, so I decided to record a process video showing what I did to prep the stained glass mosaic windows I made for the release party for the Jennifer K. Eckhart and Stained Glass Road CD. I will be adding footage from the release party as soon as it becomes available.
