PA winters can be long and dreary-throw in covid self-isolation and things can be kind of depressing. Not so on the main road through Lehighton, PA. The business owners started an initiative to boost the feelings of hope that come with spring through a storefront painted decoration contest. Although not a resident of the town, I loved the thought of creating work to lift spirits (isn’t that what Art is all about?) and encouraging the viewer to become “Part of the Art”

The work is located at 145 S. 1st St. in Lehighton, PA and will be up all summer (2021).
